Finland-based Stalatube Oy, which manufactures stainless steel pipes, profiles, and components, made the best annual result in its history.
The entire staff was rewarded with record-breaking bonuses
In 2022, the company made a record revenue of 126.5 million euros, which was 42 % above the level of the previous year. Stalatube also achieved a record EBIT of 21.3 million euros. For the successful year of operation, the company rewarded all its personnel by giving each of them a record-breaking bonus, where the bonus percentage calculated from the personnel’s annual earnings was the same as the company’s net profit percentage.

In 2022, 94 % of Stalatube’s sales were exported. Although forecasts do not promise the same success for this year, the start has exceeded expectations. The war in Ukraine and the strike of the Finnish Transport Workers’ Union (AKT) will have a negative impact on exporting companies’ result-making capability, which makes it difficult to look ahead to this year.
In line with Stalatube’s new strategy, the company specializes in high-strength stainless steel hollow sections. Stalatube is also the global market leader in stainless steel bus and coach body tubes and components.
